I do. Every piece is designed and handcrafted by me, René, in my studio. I work with silver, stone, and traditional silversmithing techniques. Nothing is mass-produced.

What is Sun Salt Silver known for?

What inspired the name Sun Salt Silver?

The elements that ground me. Sunlight. Desert air. Ocean salt. Silver. The name reflects what shows up in the work — warmth, texture, and quiet strength.

Is this handmade jewelry?

Yes. Every piece is cut, shaped, soldered, and finished by hand. I use traditional silversmithing techniques. No molds. No shortcuts. Just silver, fire, and time.

Materials & Process

What materials do you use?

Fine and sterling silver. Natural stones — turquoise, opal, labradorite, fossilized shark teeth, sapphires, kyanite, and other gemstones with character. I source mindfully from small, ethical suppliers.

What makes your jewelry different?

Each piece is one of a kind. I don't sketch first. I follow the stone. The design unfolds as I work — intuitive, organic, and intentional. That's what gives the work its presence.

Ready-to-ship pieces ship within 3 business days. Made-to-order and custom pieces take 2–6 weeks, depending on the design.

You'll receive tracking once your piece ships.

Ready-to-ship pieces: 14-day returns in original condition.
