Shallows | Glacier Blue Turquoise Charm Keeper Necklace

$285.00

One-of-a-kind piece. Once it's gone, it won't be recreated.

Handcrafted in silver. Made to be worn and lived in.

This is what shallow water looks like from above.

Pale seafoam. Soft aqua. The kind of color that exists for about twenty minutes in the morning before the light shifts and it becomes something else entirely.

The beads are faceted seafoam rondelles, hand-knotted on teal silk dyed to match the stone. Each knot is individual. Each bead sits in its own space, separated and intentional, the way good things are when they are not crowded.

At the front, or the side, depending on how you wear it, a glacier blue turquoise cabochon sits in a serrated bezel setting, inline on a section of sterling silver paperclip chain. The stone is rectangular. Sky blue with a sweep of warm brown matrix that maps its own geology. It is the only one like it.

The toggle is a charm keeper. That circle is functional and deliberate. Attach something to it. Leave it bare. Either way, it holds.

16 inches. One of a kind.

The Stone
Turquoise is one of the oldest stones in human adornment. Worn by warriors, healers, and those who needed to speak truth without flinching. Found in burial sites, crowns, and ceremonial objects across ancient Egypt, the Indigenous peoples of the American Southwest, and Persia.

This particular stone is glacier blue. Cool and clear, with a warm brown matrix running through it that tells you exactly where it came from and how long it took to get here.

It carries the quiet authority of deep time. Grounding and open at once.

How to wear it
The turquoise cabochon sits inline where the silk strand meets the paperclip chain. Wear it centered at the front for a focal point. Shift it to the side for something more unexpected. The toggle at center front becomes the visual anchor either way, and the charm keeper ring is ready for whatever you want to hang from it.

Or nothing. Nothing works too.

Care
Sterling silver develops a natural patina with wear. This is character, not damage. To clean, use a soft cloth. Keep silk away from prolonged water exposure. Natural turquoise is best kept away from chemicals, perfume, and ultrasonic cleaners. Handle with intention.

Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.

Care & Longevity

Sun Salt Silver jewelry is made to be worn and lived in. With a little care, your piece will keep its beauty for years.

Because many designs feature natural stones like turquoise, opal, shell, or fossilized materials, treat your jewelry gently.

A few simple guidelines:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
• Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products
• Store pieces separately to prevent scratching
• Gently polish silver with a soft cloth when needed

Natural stones can be sensitive to water and chemicals. Keeping your jewelry dry and stored safely will help preserve its color and finish.
