Green and blue light moves across a freeform abalone shell in this polished silver ring. A serrated bezel and beaded edge trace its shifting surface, while the bypass band curves around the finger. Wear it for a flash of ocean color that changes as you move.

Handmade by René M. Bailey of Sun Salt Silver, the setting follows the shell’s individual shape. The sweeping band and small silver accent give the design a fluid outline, with the shell’s iridescence at its center.

Care: Silver naturally darkens over time. Polish with a soft cloth to restore shine, or let it patina. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged water exposure to protect the abalone’s natural luster.
Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.

Because many designs feature natural stones like turquoise, opal, shell, or fossilized materials, treat your jewelry gently.

A few simple guidelines:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
• Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products
• Store pieces separately to prevent scratching
• Gently polish silver with a soft cloth when needed
• Keep silk away from water, perfume, and lotions. Store flat or loosely coiled.

Natural stones can be sensitive to water and chemicals. Keeping your jewelry dry and stored safely will help preserve its color and finish.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn pieces in original condition and packaging.

Not eligible for return: Custom work, pieces finished to size, sale items, and gift cards.
