A pale cowrie shell brings shoreline texture to this oval silver ring. Its ridged opening creates a dark central line, framed by small silver beads that catch the light around the edge. Wear it alone for a quiet coastal statement, or pair it with simple silver and let the shell’s natural form lead.

Handmade by René M. Bailey of Sun Salt Silver, the setting follows the shell’s oval outline. A beaded frame defines its pale curves, while the split-shank band gives the design open lines beneath.

Care: Sterling silver naturally patinas with wear. Polish with a soft cloth to restore shine, or let the oxidation deepen. Remove before prolonged water exposure or heavy activity.
Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.

Because many designs feature natural stones like turquoise, opal, shell, or fossilized materials, treat your jewelry gently.

A few simple guidelines:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
• Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products
• Store pieces separately to prevent scratching
• Gently polish silver with a soft cloth when needed
• Keep silk away from water, perfume, and lotions. Store flat or loosely coiled.

Natural stones can be sensitive to water and chemicals. Keeping your jewelry dry and stored safely will help preserve its color and finish.

All packages are insured and include tracking. 

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn pieces in original condition and packaging.

Not eligible for return: Custom work, pieces finished to size, sale items, and gift cards.
