Bright chartreuse Palomino variscite glows against darkened silver in Desert Afterglow. Elongated teardrop shadowboxes give the stones room to stand out, while a beaded silver border traces each silhouette. Wear them with a simple neckline for rich contrast and a little edge.

Handmade by René M. Bailey of Sun Salt Silver, the variscite sits within serrated bezels near the base of each shadowbox. Small connecting rings let the drops move beneath rounded silver post tops. The stones’ differing outlines and earthy markings give the pair its individual character.
Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.

Because many designs feature natural stones like turquoise, opal, shell, or fossilized materials, treat your jewelry gently.

A few simple guidelines:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
• Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products
• Store pieces separately to prevent scratching
• Gently polish silver with a soft cloth when needed
• Keep silk away from water, perfume, and lotions. Store flat or loosely coiled.

Natural stones can be sensitive to water and chemicals. Keeping your jewelry dry and stored safely will help preserve its color and finish.

All packages are insured and include tracking. 

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn pieces in original condition and packaging.

Not eligible for return: Custom work, pieces finished to size, sale items, and gift cards.
