A broad oval of vivid old-stock turquoise fills this one-of-a-kind sterling silver statement ring with the color of open water. The stone’s expansive blue surface is interrupted only by subtle traces of earthy matrix, allowing its saturated color and softly organic character to take center stage.

The turquoise is held in a scalloped fine silver bezel and surrounded by a border of dimensional sterling silver beads. Three larger silver droplets gather at the base of the setting like water suspended at the edge of a tide pool. Oxidized recesses define the metalwork, while a soft satin finish gives the silver a quiet, luminous glow.

The turquoise was acquired as old stock from an Arizona collector. Its specific mine origin and treatment history are unknown, so no mine attribution has been assigned.

High Tide is bold, elemental and beautifully uncomplicated—a substantial turquoise ring created for the woman who is never afraid to wear the statement piece.

Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.
