Stone, shell, and fossil forms meet hand-dyed silk in Driftline, a small series of wraps made to change with your styling. Choose your piece, then wrap it at the wrist or wear it at the neckline as a choker or bolo. Each material and ribbon pairing brings its own color and character.

At a glance

  • Silk length: Approximately 36 inches
  • Focal material: Natural stone, cowrie shell, or fossil shark tooth, depending on your selected option
  • Carico Lake option: Variscite
  • Metals: Fine and sterling silver
  • Ribbon: Hand-dyed silk
  • Closure: Tie to secure; fit depends on styling
  • Ways to wear: Bracelet, anklet, choker, bolo, hat band, or hair tie
  • Included: One complete wrap in your selected option

Handmade by René M. Bailey of Sun Salt Silver, each silver setting lets its focal material lead. Soft silk brings movement and color around it, giving one piece several ways to become part of your everyday jewelry.

Lettered silk: The cowrie shell, vertical shark tooth, and White Buffalo options feature the hand-painted words “Not all those who wander are lost.”

Choosing your piece: Match the option letter to the labeled photos. Group photographs show multiple wraps; each is sold separately.

Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.

Care & Longevity

Sun Salt Silver jewelry is made to be worn and lived in. With a little care, your piece will keep its beauty for years.

Because many designs feature natural stones like turquoise, opal, shell, or fossilized materials, treat your jewelry gently.

A few simple guidelines:

• Remove before swimming, showering, or working with your hands
• Avoid lotions, perfumes, and cleaning products
• Store pieces separately to prevent scratching
• Gently polish silver with a soft cloth when needed
• Keep silk away from water, perfume, and lotions. Store flat or loosely coiled.

Natural stones can be sensitive to water and chemicals. Keeping your jewelry dry and stored safely will help preserve its color and finish.
