Kingman turquoise is one of the most recognized stones from the American Southwest. Mined in Arizona, it ranges from soft sky blue to clear teal, with a matrix that forms over millions of years underground. This particular pair sits at the calm, clear end of that spectrum. Steady. Grounded. Certain.

The form is a hand-fabricated sterling silver teardrop, high-polish finish. A round Kingman cabochon is bezel-set at the base, flanked by four sterling silver granules, two on each side. The granulation is a quiet detail. It grounds the stone without competing with it.

Sterling silver ear wires. 1.8" total length. Substantial enough to be noticed. Light enough to forget you are wearing them.

This is a signature design. It returns. The stone never does.

Kingman turquoise has been mined in Arizona for over a thousand years. It is one of the most collected turquoise sources in the world, and for good reason. The color is consistent, clear, and deeply grounded in the landscape it comes from.

I chose this stone because it belongs in this form. The teardrop holds it. The granules frame it. The silver steps back.

This is a repeatable design and returns in small batches throughout the year. The form stays the same. The stone is always different.
Materials

Each Sun Salt Silver piece is handcrafted using sterling and fine silver with natural stones chosen for their character, color, and story.

I work primarily with turquoise, opal, gemstones, shark tooth fossils, and other stones that feel grounded and alive. No two stones are identical — natural variations are part of the beauty.

All jewelry is made by hand in my studio using traditional silversmithing techniques. The result is work that feels substantial, personal, and meant to be worn for years.
